Le caratteristiche del tronco di questo abete mi hanno subito colpito xkè è raro trovare in natura un abete che inizi a muovere e ad accennare una sinuosità fin dal tronco.
La pianta dopo essere stata raccolta due anni fa si presentava così:
Con due lunghi rami che si vedono partire sulla destra del tronco. e alla parte apicale presentava un lungo mancone da lavorare e modellare a secco con l'uso delle frese e della tecnica a strappo.
Dopo un pò di lavoro finalmente il secco è stato redotto e reso più naturale e ora si valuta se lasciare tutti e due i rami innestando su se stesso il più basso oppure eliminare quest'ultimo e procedere con una superpiega sul ramo più alto.
Considerato che l'abete è molto elastico e permette drastiche torsioni ho optato per la seconda idea e dopo aver rafiato e legato il ramo con due fili di rame da 5mm si è fissato al tronco un tondino di ferro dove ancorare i tiranti.
Con la dovuta cautela abbiamo (con il mio Sensei Enrico Savini) piegato e rigirato su se stesso il ramo che ora sarà il proseguimento del tronco.
